Isolation: Disconnection, solitude and seclusion in a connected world
14th - 16th December, Hobart, University of Tasmania, 2006

Conference keynotes from:

Isolating connection, connecting isolation (Eric Clark, Lund University)
On Loneliness (Adrian Franklin, University of Tasmania)

Included in the conference proceedings and fee, the following: 

*	Conference dinner at Moorilla winery, up the Derwent river by
catamaran 
*	A day down the river and round the coast to visit Port Arthur 
*	An evening of inspired contemporary music - David Toop, Scanner and
Lawrence English 
*	A specially produced compilation cd of contemporary music inspired
by Isolation compiled by the Brisbane-based label Room40, for all delegates 
*	A significant publication, drawn from conference papers, is planned.
