Professor Sally Sheldon
"Reproducing Fatherhood: Men, Reproductive Technologies and the Law"

Professor Sheldon specialises in medical law and ethics, and the legal
regulation of gender and sexuality. She is the author of Beyond Control:
Medical Power and Abortion Law London:
Pluto, 1997, and is a General Editor of the journal Social & Legal
Studies.

Dr. Margrit Shildrick
'Queering Performativity: Disability After Deleuze'

Dr. Shildrick is a renowned scholar working in the area of feminist
philosophy and bioethics. Her books include Leaky Bodies and Boundaries:
Feminism, Postmodernism and (Bio)ethics UK: Routledge 1997, and
Embodying the Monster: Encounters with the Vulnerable Self UK: Routledge
2001. Dr. Shildrick lectures at the University of Staffordshire, is
Visiting Senior Research Fellow at University College Dublin, and was
recently Visiting Professor at the York University Centre for Health
Studies, Toronto.

Professor Michele Goodwin
'Moral Distress and the Role of Law in Biotech Advancement: How We
Regulate Body Trading'

Professor Goodwin is the Director of the Health Law Institute, DePaul
University, Chicago, and founder of the Center for the Study of Race &
Bioethics. Her scholarship examines patterns of legal distinctions based
on the social markers of class, race, gender.
