Cultural Studies successful in ARC Networks Grants
The Minister for Education, Science and Training, Dr Brendan Nelson, and the
Minister for Health and Ageing, Tony Abbott, yesterday (25 August 2004)
announced the Government would establish 24 new research networks to help
coordinate leading-edge research across Australia. The Cultural Research
Network <http://cccs.uq.edu.au/crn/> convened by Graeme Turner (CCCS), is
one of the three successful humanities ARC

research networks. A large number of CSAA members make up the Cultural
Research Network and the next five years look to be very promising and
productive for research in our area.
