This is organized as part of the disability communication and media focus we are trying to grow at the International Communication Association.

This conference features a series of presentations that consider the intersections of disability, media, and communication across mediums, contexts, and geographies. It draws attention to the complex dynamics that emerge when disability meets digital spaces, services, and academia, as well as considerations of normality, representation, and meaning-making.
