This is the sixth webinar in a series of joint international webinars presented by Charles Sturt University Australia and Masaryk University, Brno Czech Republic.


Panellists and Speakers


Dr Blanka Plasová (Masaryk University, Czech Republic)

Blanka's research focuses on the topics of work-family imbalance and gender inequality at the employer level. On a practical level, she works as a coordinator for work-family reconciliation and as a consultant for the promotion of gender equality plans in the university environment.


Dr. Iveta Zelenková (Masaryk University, Czech Republic)

Iveta's research focuses on organisational research and managing organizations and leading people in changing environments with special focus on adapting flexible working conditions in the context of diversity.


Dr Fredrik Velander (Charles Sturt University, Australia)

Lecturer in the School of Social Work and Arts, Charles Sturt University, since 2010. Research interests include mental health, organisational health, kindness pedagogy and curriculum development.


Dr. Holly Randell-Moon (Charles Sturt University, Australia)

Holly researches in the areas of critical race and whiteness studies, education, and cultural competency. For more information on her research, please visit:

Kellie May, BA (Hons), MPS, MIntl&ComnDev

In her role as Manager, for the Volunteering and Youth portfolios with the NSW Government’s Department of Communities and Justice, Kellie leads the implementation of the State Government’s Volunteering Strategy. This Strategy is focused on sector sustainability and takes a whole-of-sector, whole-of-state approach. Kellie works in close collaboration with a wide range of stakeholders, spanning non-government and government organisations. A volunteer herself, she brings on the ground experience to the activation of volunteering policy and initiatives.


Associate Professor Cate Thomas (Charles Sturt University, Australia)

Cate researches in the areas of social equality, intersectionality, inclusion and belonging. She particularly is interested in organisational development and culture.
