Dear CSAA colleagues,

We are pleased to announce that the ARC Centre of Excellence for Automated Decision-Making and Society (ADM+S) will be hosting the 2023 ADM+S Symposium: Automated News and Media on Thursday 13 July - Friday 14 July at the University of Sydney, Camperdown, Australia in person and online.

The Symposium brings together researchers, industry, advocacy groups and policymakers to showcase the findings of our work together to date, and to address the most pressing challenges associated with automated systems in the digital media, information, and entertainment environment. Please visit the ADM+S Symposium website<https://www.admscentre.org.au/event/2023-adms-symposium-automated-news-media/> for further information and registration.

We recognise your shared interest in the role AI should have in Australian society and we wish to invite your members to the event. Would you be happy to distribute the attached flyer to your members? We have also included social media tiles that can be shared.

Warm regards

I acknowledge the Turrbal and Yugara, as the First Nations owners of the lands where QUT now stands. I pay respect to their Elders, lores, customs and creation spirits. I recognise that these lands have always been places of teaching, research, and learning.
