[csaa-forum] CSAA Diversity and Inclusion: update and call for feedback

Dear CSAA members,



Some of you may remember that during the 2019 CSAA annual conference at the University of Queensland, it was resolved that the CSAA would work to develop its Diversity and Inclusion policy.


I wanted to provide an update about this, and invite your participation.


In 2020/21, the CSAA membership elected three members to serve as CSAA DEI Officers, as part of the National Committee. They are:

Karin Sellberg (UQ, Chair)

Elham Golpushnezhad (SAE)

Megan Rose (UNSW)



This team is currently working on their action plan, focusing on: access to bursaries, developing a CSAA Code of Conduct, accessibility planning for CSAA events (online and FtF), and an inclusion policy.
