The Hub for Innovation in Podcasting (HIP)<https://hippodcasts.org/> , which was established to build expertise in the study and production of podcasts is holding it’s first event this THURSDAY 17th MARCH at 17.30: an insider take on a remarkable narrative podcast, The Greatest Menace<https://www.thegreatestmenace.com/>, which investigates a ‘gay prison’ experiment in Australia. TGM sits at the intersection of queer history, true crime and personal storytelling.

I hope you can join co-producers Patrick Abboud, Simon Cunich and me, Siobhan McHugh, as we take you behind the three-year artistic, editorial and ethical process that delivered this extraordinary story. We’ll discuss how we wrangled 126 hours of interview and actuality into 8 episodes of cohesive and engaging narrative.
