‘Post-Truth’ was Oxford Dictionaries 2016 word of the year. While the term
was coined by its disparagers, especially in light of the Brexit and US
Presidential campaigns, the roots of post-truth lie deep in the history of
Western social and political theory.

Join Professor Steve Fuller, Auguste Comte Professor of Social Epistemology
at the University of Warwick, for an investigation into the roots of this
all-too-familiar concept in the lead-up to the publication of his new book
'Post-Truth: Knowledge as a Power Game'. Professor Fuller's talk will be
followed by a short Q&A with Dr Patrick Stokes, Deakin University, before
we open to the floor for questions from the audience.
