Dear colleagues,

On behalf of the CSAA Executive, I wanted to wish everyone who participated in and were awarded funding in the most recent round of ARC funding announced last week a warm congratulations.

We were delighted to see our very own Associate Professor Rob Cover, a valued CSAA executive member whose Discovery project was among those funded, as were projects with Dr Natalie Harkin, Dr Brian Yecies, Dr Jie Yang, Professor Deborah Stevenson, Professor Justin O'Connor, Dr Christiaan De Beukelaer, Professor Yudhishthir Isar, Professor Constance DeVereaux, Assistant Professor Jun Wang, Dr Adele Pavlidis, and Ms Avril Joffe. These projects were all funded using 2002* (Cultural Studies) as their primary Field of Research, but there were many more projects that included a subsequent cultural studies component and/or were in closely related fields, for which we also offer our congratulations.

We are thrilled for each and every CSAA member that was successful and, just as importantly, who applied and continued the process of developing their projects and networks. More broadly, we are simply gratified to see such dynamic work in and around the intersections of cultural studies being supported and pursued.

Congratulations again to all of you on behalf of the CSAA Executive.

best,

Kelly
