Thursday 12 May will see Indigenous Health May Day - #IHMayDay16<https://twitter.com/hashtag/ihmayday16> - trending on twitter and co-hosted at the University of Wollongong
#IHMayDay16 foregrounds Indigenous voices via social media. Non-Indigenous people are invited to participate by listening and amplifying. The twitter day of action is a prime example of Indigenous innovation in social media, online activism and advocacy, and a practical politics of listening
The event may be of interest to staff, students and networks in media, communications, journalism, Indigenous studies and cultural studies. Please do circulate where relevant - and follow and RT #IHMayDay16 if you'd like to be involved
