[csaa-forum] Calling all W.A. Media, Communication and Cultural Studies Postgrads & ECRs

Dear all,

Western Australian Media, Communication and Cultural Studies postgraduates,
ECRs and academic staff are warmly invited to the second WACCM Event, to be
held at The University of Western Australia, Friday 5 June 10am- 3pm.

WACCM is the WA Communication, Culture and Media group, set up by the four
main WA universities to improve networking and maximise our research
environment.  WACCM is funded by the Cultural Studies Association of
Australasia (CSAA) and the Australia and New Zealand Communication
Association (ANZCA)


The June event will include:

[A] Key Presentations on the past and future trajectories of media,
communication and cultural studies research in Australia and the region
more broadly.  Speakers include: Professors Jon Stratton, Terence, Panizza
Allmark and Lucy Montgomery.

[B] Networking lunch, provided.

[C] Mini-masterclasses on Research Methods relevant to media, communication
and cultural studies PhD and early-career researchers.

participants are also asked to send in a 30-word question on any aspect of
research methods that may be of interest to you—see the attachment for RSVP
details).
