Applications for Postgraduate Research Scholarship Now Open
A three-year PhD scholarship is available for a candidate to contribute to a Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre (www.youngandwellcrc.org.au) project exploring technology for socially inclusive communities. As part of the project, the candidate will contribute to a case study, which draws on literacies, technology and community engagement to support vulnerable WA young people.
Eligible candidates will have a BEd or BA with honours or MEd/MA in an area related to literacies, learning, technology or schooling, and experience with qualitative methods. Australian or New Zealand citizens and permanent residents are eligible to apply. The value of the scholarship is AUD $30 889 per annum to support a living stipend and research activities. Candidates must be eligible for a WA Working with Children Check and should have experience working with young people. The Scholarship will begin in May 2013.
