writing in the posthumanities: exploring the potentialities of writing
practice after the material turn closes this Monday *26th November.* *


You are also *warmly invited to the symposium launch at 6.30 pm, Tuesday
27th November at Hares and Hyenas in Fitzroy*, featuring a screening of new
and selected video art by Hong Kong-based Canadian multimedia poet David
Johnston (Jhave), introduced by multimedia artist Norie Neumark, one half
of out-of-sync <http://www.out-of-sync.com> and director of La Trobe's
Centre for Creative Arts.


With music by AustraLYSIS, lots of wine and superb cocktail platters by
ASRC Catering, the event will provide an excellent atmosphere for
discussion with fellow writers, artists and researchers in the areas of
creative practice, new media, new materialism and the posthumanities, as
well as in writing broadly speaking.
