*Apologies for cross posting*

Dear CSAA list,

The Academy strongly encourages Australia's humanities researchers looking to collaborate with colleagues in China to apply for funding through the 2012-2013 "Group Mission" funding round of the Australia-China Science and Research Fund (ACSRF).

Yes, humanities researchers are eligible to apply for this funding!

The ACSRF scheme will open on 3 July 2012. The Australian Government will contribute a max. of $45,000 of funding for each group mission, and activities may include:

* Early and mid career researcher exchange programmes with Chinese partners

* Research related workshops and symposia with Chinese partners

* Research related visits and secondments to China

Humanities researchers are strongly encouraged to apply early in the process. See DIISRTE's website for more details http://www.innovation.gov.au/SCIENCE/INTERNATIONALCOLLABORATION/ACSRF/Pages/default.aspx

Cheers,

Kylie
