RESEARCH FELLOW IN DIGITAL CULTURES
University of the West of England ˆ Digital Cultures Research Centre
Fixed Term, full-time until December 31, 2012 £29,704 - £35,469 per annum
The Digital Cultures Research Centre is developing work in three strands,
Play, User Generated Content and Pervasive Media The Centre is based at the
Pervasive Media Studio, one of Bristol‚s leading media innovation
environments. The Research Fellow will develop and publish their own
research and knowledge exchange at an international level in an area within
the Centre‚s scope. The Fellow will also be expected to undertake practice
based research into how the communication techniques of Web 2.0 can be
deployed to maximise the Centre‚s research impact. This is an exciting
opportunity for a committed researcher to play a major role in building a
high profile Research Centre.

RESEARCH ASSOCIATE IN PERVASIVE MEDIA
University of the West of England ˆ Digital Cultures Research Centre
£26,391 ˆ £29,704 per annum
This is a two-year Research post working with Professor Jonathan Dovey and
the Pervasive Media Studio, Bristol, on an AHRC funded Knowledge Transfer
Fellowship. You will be working on researching new value networks for
emerging applications of Pervasive Media. You will also be organising
seminars, workshops and summer schools to both generate and to disseminate
your research. This unique opportunity will offer the post holder an
excellent foundation in emergent New Media markets which will be invaluable
in both Research and Commercial contexts.
