The Centre for Cultural Research at UWS conducts interdisciplinary and collaborative research that addresses the cultural challenges and contradictions of an increasingly globalised, heterogeneous and technologically mediated world. Research at the CCR is organised around the unifying theme of Knowledge Practices: Theory, Method Engagement, and four integrative research themes: Intercultural Dialogue; Institutions, Governance, Conduct; Cultural Economy and Globalisation; and Culture, Nature, Environments.

The Centre invites applications from outstanding researchers with interdisciplinary experience in the broad field of cultural research and with a demonstrated ability to work across different approaches and subfields. Successful applicants will be able to contribute to the Centre's unifying theme as well as work across one or more of the integrative themes.

The University reserves the right to appoint at Level B, C or D depending upon the skills, qualifications and experience of the successful applicants.

Applications should address the selection criteria and the Centre's research agenda which can be obtained from Maree O'Neill, at m.oneill at uws.edu.au <mailto:m.oneill at uws.edu.au>

Appointments at Level B will initially be for five years and may be continued subject to performance. Appointments at Levels C and D will be ongoing.
