The Centre for Cultural Research at UWS conducts interdisciplinary and collaborative research that addresses the cultural challenges and contradictions of an increasingly globalised, heterogeneous and technologically mediated world. Research at the CCR is organised around the unifying theme of Knowledge Practices: Theory, Method Engagement, and four integrative research themes: Intercultural Dialogue; Institutions, Governance, Conduct; Cultural Economy and Globalisation; and Culture, Nature, Environments.
The Centre invites applications from outstanding researchers with interdisciplinary experience in the broad field of cultural research and with a demonstrated ability to work across different approaches and subfields. Successful applicants will be able to contribute to the Centre's unifying theme as well as work across one or more of the integrative themes.
