------ Forwarded Message

Dear Colleagues,

Unfortunately we have had problems with the ANZCA09 website and many people have not been able to submit their papers. We apologise if this has inconvenienced anyone. In light of this, and because many people have asked for an extension, we have decided to extend the deadline for papers, panels and abstracts for the ANZCA09 Communication, Creativity and Global Citizenship conference to 5pm Monday 23 February (Australian Eastern Standard Time).

An extension of time was decided because of the website difficulties, new streams being added to the program, and requests for extensions from many currently occupied with ARC Grants. Can you please pass this information onto anyone that needs to know, especially those who have had problems uploading papers. Please note that DOCX files cannot be uploaded and will cause problems with the system.

You may also be interested to know that a new stream entitled, Creativity and Communication has been added to the ANZCA lineup. More information on the stream can be found on the website www.anzca09.org or by contacting stream coordinator Jillian Clare j.clare at qut.edu.au

We would like to thank all who have submitted so far. For those about to submit, we would like to reiterate that all submissions must go through the ANZCA09 conference web site if possible <http://www.anzca09.org><http://www.anzca09.org>.

If a paper or proposal only exists as an email sent to a strand convenor, it will not be considered to have been submitted unless there were problems with the website at the time of submission. Any further enquiries please contact Kelly Hussey-Smith kelly.husseysmith at qut.edu.au or Xin Gu x1.gu at qut.edu.au
