[csaa-forum] Re: csaa-forum Digest, Vol 41, Issue 22 - Difference of Opinion

I watched this program on TV last night and was wondering about how it
might be received. It was interesting to see the comments posted on the
site itself, in which the cultural studies commentators get quite a
beating.

http://www2b.abc.net.au/tmb/Client/Board.aspx?b=70

Should such comments should be read as indicative of the broader
audience? If they are indicative, it might suggest the need for a
different tack in how arguments within cultural studies are advanced in
such a forum.

I agree with Mark's comments about the program, but I wonder it that
response is specific to a viewer with a pre-existing investment in
cultural studies.
