Media Studies, Victoria University of Wellington
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer (x2)

Victoria University is seeking to appoint two Lecturers/Senior  
Lecturers in the Media Studies programme.

One of the roles will have a primary focus on the teaching,  
coordination and development of media, gender and sexuality courses,  
the other will have a focus on the teaching, coordination and  
development of journalism studies.

The appointees will require a PhD in media studies or a related  
field; have a good research record; have experience in undergraduate  
teaching and course coordination and the ability to teach large first  
year courses.

It is desirable that the appointees have three or more years of  
research and teaching experience as part of an academic faculty; have  
experience in postgraduate supervision and be recognised within the  
international research community.
