Dear all,
Some great news from the ARC Cultural Research Network:
ARC Cultural Research Network awards cash for postgraduate
presenters at CSAA 2006
The ARC Cultural Research Network has announced a $5,000 bursary (The ARC
Cultural Research Network Awards) to support the presence of postgraduate
students enrolled in Australian universities at the CSAA 2006 annual
conference. Awards cover CSAA conference registration, airfare,
accommodation and a small per diem, and will be granted to the writers of
the best postgraduate abstracts. Six awards will be granted in 2006. (NB: If
you have completed a PhD and are without full-time work, you may also
apply).
The theme for this year¹s conference is UNAUSTRALIA. Expect to see a call
for papers on this list in the next fortnight. You¹ll be able to apply for
the ARC Cultural Research Network Awards by ticking a box on the abstract
submission form.
Unfortunately these awards do not cover New Zealand / Aotearoa students. The
CSAA is investigating New Zealand / Aotearoa bodies that might offer
equivalent funding.
Cheers
and many thanks, on behalf of the CSAA, to the Cultural Research Network,
Paul
