Dear all,

An extended interview with Dr Andy Bennett, author of  'Cultures of
Popular Music' and 'Popular Music and Youth Culture: Music, identity and
place', and numerous articles, will feature on the next edition of the
radio program, Arts Alive, on Monday 10 April.   

Arts Alive is heard on the national Community Radio Network, SBS
digital radio and is published and distributed on CD by The Aborigianal
Program Exchange.  The spoken word content may be found at
www.artsaliveradio.com

Andy has been a visiting fellow at the University of South Australia
collaborating on an ARC funded project, 'Playing for Life: The Everyday
Music Practices of Marginalised Youth as Strategic Pathways to Agency,
Employment and Socio-Economic Inclusion'.

recent award.
