the AMWU, Public Health Association, Uniting Care, AFTINET and the arts.

A public meeting to explain the US Free Trade Agreement
When: Thursday 1 April, 6pm
Where: Tom Mann Theatre, 136 Chalmers Street, Surry Hills, NSW (three
minutes walk from Central Station)

* Julius Roe, National President, Australian Manufacturing Workers' Union
(AMWU) 
* Dr Peter Sainsbury, President, Public Health Association of Australia
* Rev Harry Herbert, Uniting Church Minister, Director, UnitingCare
* Dr Patricia Ranald, Convenor, Australian Fair Trade and Investment Network
(AFTINET) 
* Plus a speaker from the media / arts
AFTINET's summary leaflet of key issues in the USFTA 'Ten Devils in the
Detail of the USFTA' will be available at the meeting. With thanks to

Come along and get prepared to make your submission to the Senate Select
Committee on the USFTA. Deadline 30 April (see
