<p><span style="font-family: "Calibri Light", sans-serif; font-size: 10.5pt;">Israel continues to prevent international journalists from entering Gaza, and ADF has killed 170+ local journalists in Gaza over the past 20 months – in a strip of land which is a
third of Canberra. This is the highest death toll of journalists in any country in such a short time in recorded history. Words matter. As with any racial discrimination, our response to antisemitism must be unwavering and robust, but surely it cannot prevent
us from speaking out against apartheid and mass atrocities such as alleged genocide committed by Israel, either inside our university campuses or in the mediated public sphere.</span></p>
