<span style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt">As we look back at another year beset by pandemic disruptions, I wanted to take this opportunity update you all on some key activities of the CSAA, and to celebrate some of the successes within the CSAA community during
2021.<span class="x_Apple-converted-space" style="margin:0px"> </span> </span></p>

<span style="margin:0px;font-size:11pt">Undoubtedly the most significant of these successes is the resilience and activism of this very community of scholars. The CSAA was first established as a formal association in 1992, and while Cultural Studies as a discipline
has a longer history in Australasia, next year nonetheless marks the 30<sup>th </sup>anniversary of the CSAA itself. </span></p>
