</span>The 33 1/3 Oceania series, published by Bloomsbury, is looking for more expressions of interest. Books in the series are 30,000 words. Each is founded on a specific album. The books are written in diverse styles having the common feature that they are
aimed at second year undergraduates and above, and academics, but might also attract a more general readership. The 33 1/3 Oceania series is related to the main 33 1/3 series. You can find the webpage for that series here: https://www.bloomsbury.com/us/series/33-13/
. The 33 1/3 Oceania series started considering proposals last year. At present six books are under contract with more proposals under review. We are excited at the possibilities the series offers for academic work on popular music in the region.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p>

<span style="font-family:'Helvetica Neue';font-size:11.00px">At this time we are particularly focused on suggestions for books on albums by female artists, Indigenous and Maori artists and artists from minority groups. At the same time this should not dissuade
prospective authors with other interests. For example, the series has as yet no proposal for a book on an Oz Rock album or a Dunedin Sound album, an Australian surf album or a Pasifika album. Also, please remember that the series is regional and suggestions
for books on albums from places in the region other than Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand are encouraged.<span class="Apple-converted-space"> </span></span></p>
