In 2019 we have invited presenters to speak to one of two streams: Current Approaches to Screen Theory and Futures of Screen-based Creative Practice.</p>

Across two days, experts in screen theory and screen practice from across Australia will present on a number of topics, including:</p>

<li style="">Cinemas of national past</li><li style="">The gaze</li><li style="">Exhibition and festivals</li><li style="">Genre and cinema: neon-noir, sci-fi and the western</li><li style="">Auteurs</li><li style="">Narratives of heroes and villains</li><li style="">Female filmmaking and transnational cinemas</li><li style="">Performance and celebrity, and</li><li style="">Two panels on the futures of screen-based creative practice</li></ul>
