 give an overview of European, American (North and South), and Asian Transmedia practices. Although they clearly state that their goal was “not to cover all transmedia–producing countries around the world” (p.8), it catches the eye that Asia and Pacific Region
 is only represented by India, Russia, and Japan, and countries such as China and South Korea are absent. In another recent book edited by Matthew Freeman and Renira Rampazzo Gambarato,

 The selection of the different case studies will be theoretically grounded on Jenkin’s definition of Transmedia Storytelling as

 will allow us to identify characteristics and boundaries of this phenomenon and see what Countries from Asia and Pacific Region have to add to the most recent discussion that is looking at the interconnections between transmedia practice, transmedia audiences,
 and transmedia theories. The aim of the volume is to explore how transmedia platforms, content, and audiences are constituted within the Asia and Pacific. While all chapters should address one or more of these areas, these are not restrictive and other areas
