<p class="MsoNormal">Western Sydney University is seeking a dynamic doctoral candidate eager to undertake the rigors of ethnographic fieldwork and dissertation writing. The scholar should be interested in addressing contemporary debates in urban anthropology,
informal economies and environment.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><o:p> </o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal">The candidate will be based in the <a href="https://www.westernsydney.edu.au/ics/home">
Institute for Culture and Society</a>. Located in Parramatta, Australia, at Western Sydney University, the Institute researches transformations in culture and society in the context of contemporary global change. The candidate will have a dual affiliation with

<p class="MsoNormal">We welcome applicants from a range of backgrounds, who are interested in urban anthropology. In particular, the project is suitable for candidates with strong interests in informal work, migration and cities. The successful applicant should:<o:p></o:p></p>
