His Theatre Productions range from European drama to adaptations of Bengali masterpieces. He was a British Academy Fellow and was invited to the Barbican Centre, London, with the play <i class="">Man of the Heart.</i> His first feature film <b class=""><i class="">Herbert</i> </b>(2005) won the National Award for <i class="">Best Regional Film.</i> <b class=""><i class="">Chaturanga </i></b><i class="">(2008) </i>was screened in 36 national and international festivals.
