<p style="margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 6px; margin-left: 0px;">During International Human Rights Week in December 2015, Reseachers Against Pacific Black Sites convened a series of public events in which members of the community came together to call the
Australian government to account for failing to uphold the Human Rights conventions on the treatment of refugees and asylum seekers.</p>

<p style="margin: 6px 0px;">The film ‘Call to Account’ (produced by Steve Thomas) documents the reading of a set of charges, compiled by Researchers Against Pacific Black Sites, calling the Australian state to account for its failures to uphold international
human rights conventions and treaties such as the Rights of the Child, the Convention against Torture and the Refugee Convention. It is presented as part of the Human Rights Arts and Film Festival.</p>
