<p>following the marvellous CSAA 'Minor Cultures' conference in Melbourne, I thought members might be interested to know that next December, in the week preceding the ACS-Crossroads Conference in Sydney (14-17 December: <a href="http://crossroads2016.org" id="LPlnk364925">http://crossroads2016.org),</a> there
will be a conference duo held at the Western Australian Maritime Museum at Fremantle.</p>
<p>Why not bookend Australia next December by being bi-coastal!</p>

<p>The conference venue is on the water situated in the midst of the living as well as historic port of Fremantle, a cosmopolitan, vibrant and enchanted city (one of the top 10 cities in the world to visit in 2016 - Lonely Planet), with superb beaches, excellent
coffee and sunsets and markets as well as wonderful bookshops (New Edition) art galleries and restaurants. </p>
