not mean that art is somehow subordinate to philosophy; if anything, the relationship is the other way around. Art ‘thinks’ for itself, inasmuch as it produces truths, and the ‘job’ of philosophy is precisely that of grasping these and other truths and ‘re-thinking’
them in such a way that they can be brought together in a single system.
