The Department is situated in the School of Health and Society, within a new Faculty of Social Sciences which brings together a group of outstanding scholars of national and international standing. The Department is in a phase of growth as it takes a key role in the implementation of a new Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) in 2015. Human Geography is also taught in two Bachelor of Science programs, the BSc (Human Geography) and BSc (Land and Heritage Management). The Department contains the Australian Centre for Cultural Environmental Research (AUSCCER) and has strong links to the University’s Global Challenges program.
