of</span><span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext"> the inclusion of a keynote presentation by Professor Robert Picard, director of the Reuters Institute at Oxford University and a leading expert on media economics</span><span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif"">
at ANZCA 2014</span><span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">. Professor Picard directs the Reuters Institute’s projects across its main research areas examining changes in the business of journalism, the practice of journalism
and journalism and accountability. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span lang="EN" style="font-family:"Calibri","sans-serif";color:windowtext">Secondly, postgraduates and ECRs who are ANZCA members and/or attending the conference are invited to attend a free pre-conference postgraduate event to be held on July 8, 2014 at Swinburne
University. This very special all-day event (lunch included) will include mentoring from Ass Prof Michele Wilson, Ass Prof Tania Lewis, Dr David Nolan and Jonathan Hutchinson and broad discussion about how social media effects academic research. Social activities
will also be included in the day’s program, followed by an optional dinner in the local area.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
