<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Times; ">John Butterworth has been the CEO of AIMIA – the digital industry association for Australia – since July 2004. He originally joined the digital industry in mid-1996, and has held a variety of senior management
 roles in online and mobile publishing, marketing and advertising.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 current digital buzzwords – and why do they matter in media? How can we understand the coming generations of media consumers? And – an important question for university graduates - where are the jobs are going to be?<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<span lang="EN-US" style="font-family: Times; color: rgb(61, 61, 61); ">David McKnight is a researcher interested broadly in politics, history, journalism and the media. He is the author of several books, including&nbsp;<i>Rupert Murdoch: An Investigation of Political
 Power</i>&nbsp;(Allen &amp; Unwin, 2012).&nbsp;In 2012 he was the co-author of&nbsp;<i>Journalism at the Speed of Bytes</i>, a study commissioned by the Walkley Foundation for Journalism, on the future of journalism in view of the crisis in the business model of newspapers.&nbsp;<o:p></o:p></span></p>
