</span><i><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">Jusqu'à la victoire </span></i><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">taken by
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">two filmmakers, Jean-Luc Godard and Jean-Pierre Gorin, as part of the politically engaged
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">Dziga Vertov Group</span><i><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">. Jusqu'à la victoire</span></i><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black"> could not be completed, since its subjects (members of the Palestine Liberation
Organization) were killed after the filming of the initial footage of <i>Jusqu'à la victoire,
</i>but both the footage and the critical reflection on the project and methods of the
</span><span lang="EN-US" style="color:black">Dziga Vertov Group were incorporated into

<i>Gaze, or, The Limit to Boundary</i>. By analyzing Godard and Miéville’s film, Professor Kordela’s paper proposes the “gaze” as a mode of “limit” that goes beyond Kant’s distinction between limit—as that which makes a field of knowledge unlimited—and boundary—as
the marker of the difference between something and its other. </span><span style="color:black"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
