The Postgraduate Coordinator from the <B>School of English, Media and Performing Arts</B>, Dr Michelle Langford and two current PhD students will be there to discuss research degree opportunities with prospective students in the following areas: English Literature, Creative Writing, Film and Cinema Studies, Theatre and Performance Studies, Media and Communication and Music.<BR>

Prospective students wishing to conduct research in the area of <B>Modernism Studies</B> are also strongly encouraged to attend as the School is looking to build a strong Postgraduate Research Community around the <B>Centre for Modernism Studies in Australia</B> under the directorship of <B>Professor Julian Murphet</B>.<BR>

<BR>

The School provides a vital and vibrant research culture for postgraduate research, offering research workshops, opportunities to participate in staff/student research seminars and an annual Postgraduate Symposium. Scholarship applications for students with a First Class Honours degree or equivalent will be strongly supported.<BR>
