Applications are invited from outstanding candidates in the interdisciplinary<BR>
field of gender studies, with expertise in and a transnational perspective<BR>
towards gender theories, to provide cover for temporary leave.<BR>
<BR>
You will join the LSE Gender Institute, which is an established and vibrant<BR>
research-led teaching department with the largest number of<BR>
postgraduates qualifying in gender studies anywhere in Europe.<BR>
<BR>
As well as having overall responsibility for the MSc Gender degree and its<BR>
research track, Gender Research, you will teach on the core course Gender<BR>
Theories of the Modern World. You will convene a core unit on Gender<BR>
Knowledge and Research Practice, as well as a further option in either<BR>
Globalising Sexualities or Gender, Postcolonialism and Development. You<BR>
will also undertake any additional academic duties required.<BR>
You will have a PhD in the social sciences, humanities or a related discipline<BR>
at the time of applying, as well as experience in teaching gender studies at<BR>
graduate level.<BR>
