Reminder: Applications close Monday 5 October 2009; 12.00 noon (Canberra time).<BR>

Are you looking for funds to enable you to engage or collaborate with international researchers? Would a travel grant to get you overseas, or to bring an international leader in your field to Australia, help you (and your colleagues) establish new collaborative research relationships?<BR>
<BR>
Then you should apply for the new funding programme for humanities and creative arts scholars administered by the Australian Academy of the Humanities.<BR>
<BR>
The first round of the International Science Linkages – Humanities and Creative Arts (ISL-HCA) programme is currently open and provides funding for both:<BR>
<BR>
1. International Research Fellowships for early to mid-career researchers; and<BR>
<BR>
2. Visiting Fellowships for eminent humanities and/or creative arts scholars to visit Australia and participate in seminars and masterclasses.<BR>
<BR>
Funding will be available to successful applicants before the end of the year. The application process is straightforward and not particularly onerous.
