Dear CSAA Colleagues,


The Entangled Legacies of Empire: Race, finance and inequality, edited by Paul Robert Gilbert, Clea Bourne, Max Haiven, and Johnna Montgomerie, has just been published.


Each contribution focuses on a photograph or image that illustrates the connections between contemporary capitalism and race, empire, and colonialism. My chapter focuses on Mervyn Bishop's photograph of Vincent Lingiari and Gough Whitlam.
