[csaa-forum] Save SymioticA

Hi all,

I know that many members of the CSAA community are friends and followers of SymbioticA, the Centre of Excellence in Biological Arts at the University of Western Australia.

For the last twenty years, SymbioticA has been at the forefront of arts/science practice and research internationally. At a time when this inter-disciplinary expertise is more urgently needed than ever, the University of Western Australia is threatening SymbioticA with imminent closure.

SymbioticA have trained a generation of arts/science practitioners and researchers in Australia. Co-directors Oron Catts and Ionat Zurr, multi-award winning artists in their own right, are long-time collaborators with the CSAA community and have done much to put Australia on the map in the biological arts and critical STS studies.
