Hello – can you please post the below message on the CSAA List. Thanks, Panizza

Tom O’Regan played a pivotal role in establishing Continuum in 1987. He edited the inaugural issue on Australian film in the 1950s. Tom worked tirelessly as an editor, with Brian Shoesmith, in establishing the journal and helping set the agenda for cultural and screen studies in Australia, alongside supporting and mentoring many, many academics. It is with great sadness to hear of the loss of Tom, within months of Brian’s passing. 2020 has certainly been a truly awful year!

I would like to announce that there will be a special Issue of Continuum to commemorate the impressive legacy of both Tom and Brian’s work.

Best regards,
Panizza
