The Academy of the Humanities is co-convening a free workshop on the ARC's LIEF scheme in Canberra on Friday 18 October. Details below - and please feel free to circulate to networks.

The Australian Academy of Humanities<https://www.humanities.org.au/>, Academy of Social Sciences in Australia<https://www.assa.edu.au/>, the Australasian Council of Deans of Arts, Social Sciences and Humanities<https://dassh.edu.au/> and the Australian Research Council<https://www.arc.gov.au/> (ARC) are convening a one-day workshop on the Linkage Infrastructure, Equipment and Facilities <https://www.arc.gov.au/grants/linkage-program/linkage-infrastructure-equipment-and-facilities> (LIEF) scheme for humanities and social sciences (HASS) researchers.

The aim of this workshop is to galvanise humanities, arts and social sciences (HASS) researchers and related fields to engage with the LIEF scheme and to unearth some of the challenges and opportunities for data-intensive HASS research and the sorts of infrastructure needed to support this research into the future.
