*Design Teacher: Casual positions available*
Whitehouse Institute of Design, Australia is a privately owned Higher
Education Provider (HEP) with full time degree students plus vocational
(VET) students, across campuses in the CBD of Melbourne and Sydney.
The Institute seeks casual teaching staff in Melbourne CBD. We currently
have vacancies in Design Context (sustainable design, marketing, design
thinking and cross cultural concepts and practices of design) for our study
period commencing in September 2017.
Applicants are required to have qualifications and experience in design or
related fields (visual culture, cultural studies, communication,
architecture, etc). Whitehouse is a dynamic institution looking to develop
its programs both nationally and internationally. The successful applicant
will contribute to our current Bachelor of Design program in. Applicants
who are not offered positions for 2017 may be placed on a casual register
for future teaching roles in 2018.
*Key Duties and Purpose of the Role*
· Deliver, collect, assess and return formal feedback components of
design subjects at undergraduate level
· Monitor attendance and student engagement
· Ensure attendance and assessment results are accurately recorded
· Participate in moderation processes.
· Inspire undergraduate level students with current and relevant
· Actively engage in dynamic and creative teaching technologies
· Participate in the dynamic team culture of creative educators.
Bachelor level degree in design or related fields (architecture, visual
