Engaging Creativity Through Technology is a research project sitting under the Young People, Technology and Wellbeing Program of the Young and Well Cooperative Research Centre (youngandwellcrc.org.au). This project seeks to investigate the unprecedented potential for online and networked media technologies to engage vulnerable young people and enhance their participation and social connection through practices of creative content production. The research will explore whether creative content sharing can generate self-sustaining forms of community and informal networks of support that can inform and transform how we promote wellbeing, help-seeking and existing mental health service provision for vulnerable young people.

The position is available until 30 June 2016 and is based at the UWS Parramatta campus.

The successful candidate will be willing to travel to other UWS campuses and, on occasion, interstate.

Remuneration Package: Higher Education Worker Level 5 $69,418 to $78,623 p.a. (comprising Salary $62,628 to $70,933 p.a., 9.5% Superannuation, and Leave Loading)
