PRESENTER/TITLE
Professor Paul Carter - Local Knowledge: the trickle-up effect to regional governance
SEMINAR
This seminar draws upon the local knowledge/Ocean Connections capacity building project that Professor Carter is developing at the Northern Institute. Fitting into the "people/policy/place" research interests of the Northern Institute, this paper considers local knowledge and regional governance in relation to a larger project of mapping archipelagic networks between ecological science, regional design and indigenous approaches to knowledge-making in Northern Australia.
