2 Marie Curie Research Fellowships in Creative Arts/ Technology at Plymouth University



Two Research positions in the areas of Creative Arts/Technology leading to a Ph.D are available at Plymouth University working within a context of a new doctoral training programme which will recruit 26 Research Fellows working on 26 projects, 'Cognovo: Cognitive Innovation' which begins in April 2013.



The individual salary for these 3-year positions starts at £35,000 p.a., which includes a living and mobility allowance. The two creative arts Research Fellows will be working on Project 8 and Project 9 in Cognovo and will be seconded to Kin Design, London www.kin-design<http://www.kin-design> as part of the research project. They will also be work closely with the Art and Sound and i-DAT Research Groups at Plymouth University.

Selected candidates will be registered for a comprehensive PhD programme that includes specialised research on a specific topic, as well as training workshops on experimental methods, cognitive neuroscience, computational modelling, humanities and human values, experimental psychology, creative arts, cognitive robotics and entrepreneurship.



Marie Curie Research Fellowships are intended to promote mobility for early stage researchers within the research community; candidates must: a) have received a degree (Bachelor or Master's) that qualifies them for PhD training, b) should not have undertaken more than 4 years of full time research subsequent to that degree, and c) should not have been resident within the UK for more than 12 months within the 3 years prior to 1 April 2014.
