Critical Race and Whiteness StudiesCall for Special Issue proposals

 

Critical Race and
Whiteness Studies (formerly the Australian
Critical Race and Whiteness Studies Association ejournal) is currently calling
for Special Issue proposals. The journal publishes peer-reviewed articles in
the area of critical race and whiteness studies from a wide range of areas in
the Humanities, Social Sciences, Education and Law. CRWS
content is available freely on an open access basis
and is aggregated by the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ). 

 

The journal’s editorial board encourages
Special Issue proposals on any aspect of critical race and whiteness studies
scholarship. The board is particularly interested in receiving Special Issue
proposals on the following topics:

 

·      
CRWS and media industries, including film,
television and new media

·      
CRWS and sport

·      
CRWS and masculinities 

·      
CRWS and critical geography, especially with
regards to the rural

 

To submit a proposal please include:

·      
Title

·      
Abstract  (400-500 words)

·      
Bio of Editors and Track record

 

Where possible please also include:

·      
List of Contributors and affiliations

·      
Abstracts of papers

·      
Desired date of publication



Critical Race and Whiteness Studies is
an open-access peer-reviewed online publication. As an online journal, we are
keen to accept proposals that utilise new or interactive media (subject to
