Registrations will soon close for a major international symposium on the topic ‘Iraq 10 Years On: Intervention, Occupation, Withdrawal and Beyond’ on the 14-15 March at Deakin City Centre campus, Melbourne.
It promises to be a very interesting and challenging event and will be attended by the Australian Ambassador to Iraq, senior international academics like Professor Liam Anderson, Professor Michael C Hudson, Professor Peter Sluglett, Professor Amin Saikal, as well as individuals like Paul Barratt (former Deputy Secretary of DFAT) – among many others.
